Currenttime Variable Missing? Automation Basics

Postby AccessHA » Thu Nov 30, 2006 11:03 am

I would like to setup a basic automation rule that does the following:

At sunset turn light on
At sunrise turn light off

In another thread ST suggested the following:
When curenttime / Equals / Sunrise / XYZ

Looking at my server variables... I don't see a "currenttime" variable listed.

I do see variables like:
Currentmonth
Currentsec
Currentminute
Currentampm

Which variable should be used?

Found it:
When currenthmmil = local_sunrise_hm then Macro All off

Variable currenthmmil is the one you are looking for. The mil version is easier to work with since it is just simple math instead of having to look at the suffix (am/pm)
