Feature Request?

Postby jackpod » Wed Nov 01, 2006 12:06 pm

How about an "OR" option?
example
Whenever "var1" changes state
OR
Whenever "var2" changes state
Then

It could save the number of rules you would need to create for more complex logic

I've looked at this a few times and when you start to combine ANDs and ORs together in the same rule you need to implement a mechanism to allow for nesting so that the rule gets evaluated properly and then it starts to get messy. Certainly a feature enhancement that is in the works.

Dave, Thanks for the reply. I figured it wasn't easy or it would be there.
