Thermostat Config Rule Issue

Postby jonreid » Tue Sep 09, 2008 8:11 am

I have configured a number of thermostats in mainlobby client.
Each are on a page, when you slect the room you can edit the appropriate temp for that room.
So the popup shows the current temp and the target temp required. The target temp is only able to be modified.

My question that i am having an issue with is that i have configued a varaiable {{mlelkm1_tempprobe_14_var}} this is the target temp value.
The current temp is variable {{mlelkm1_tempprobe_14}}.

What i need to work out is how in the rules can you write the rules so that when the target variable value does not equal the actual value then do something via command etc until it does equal then stop and monitor again.

It seems you cannot define a variable against another.
I am sure this is easy but i cannot work it out.

I would check for a change of value in the target temp. When it changes use MLConditional IsEqual to send a command to set your heat set point to the thermostat.
