UPB MLLighting Slider Macro Question

Postby DaveB » Sat Nov 07, 2009 12:54 pm

Stupid slider question;

can not get this to work for a slider...

Macro|MLLighting|Dim~049~{{value}}!setvariable|049~1!setvariable|049level~{{value}}

I can not figure our why.....I slide the slider and it simply decreases the light level by about 6% rather than setting it to the slider value.

What am I missing? Give me the correct method and I will post it under MLLighting in the WIKI, as there is not one bit of information in there concerning sliders.
Thanks!

It's actually already documented in the MLLighting wiki:
http://wiki.cinemaronline.com/index.php ... _Plugin#On

You are using a DIM command instead of ON with the option onLevel paramenter.

IE
MLServeCmd.MLLighting|On~049~{{value}}

I think you won't need to set the temp variable. I believe UPB does this for you automatically using the existing variables.
