UPB groups

Postby jinksjj » Thu Feb 01, 2007 2:48 pm

AVDCORPNY,

Groups are supported for UPB and have been for almost 2 months now.

To add a group click on the add button in the groups section of the mllighting plugin.

To add a light to a group simply select the light from the lights list in mllighting and drag it to the group you wish to add it to in the groups list.

UPB groups

Postby jinksjj » Fri Feb 09, 2007 12:48 pm

AVDCORPNY,

The groupon and groupoff commands are working, we will be posting and update to mllighting that will fix and issue with the groupoff command being rejected as an unsupported command.

One reason you might be having problems is that the links within your switches are not correct. For each light verify that if it is in group #1 that in the links list for the light that there is a record for Link #1 ( link # is the 2nd column). If there is not a record for Link #1 then you will have to add the switch to group #1 by dragging the switch from the lights list in mllighting to group #1 in the groups list.

You will also want to remove and bad links. For instance if you see a record for a link #4 and that particular light is not supposed to be in group #4 clear this link. We will be posting an update to UPB that will allow users to remove links from the switches.

Let us know if this helps.

Latest Dll fixed the On to Level Problem

Postby psaport » Fri Mar 02, 2007 6:00 pm

Group commands execute fine.
What doesn't work is when you edit a level of dim for a device in the group it always returns to a hundred percent. Can't make it show at anything less than a hundred percent.
