There are text boxes that David and I have built that work with a text file.

David, could they be made to tie with a variable?

You should use the brand new scrollable text box in the latest MainLobby Client release.

You can put an inviso button at the top of the text field to scroll up when pushed, and another on the bottom half to scroll down.

Same concept is used in MLCalendar to display today's events and scroll up / down to view more.

See the MainLobby client release notes in the Wiki.

I looked in wiki and cant find anything on scrollable text. I searched mainlobby client pages. Still cant find. Did a whole site search on "scrollable text", still nothing. what and or where do I need to look? thanks for the help.

PS. A link to wiki from any page is still a great idea. Someone posted that request, any progress or comment?

Unfortunately text.sizable doesn't seem to handle the line breaks <BR>. Of course I couldbe using it wrong. :D

No, you're not wrong, and something that has been on the wish list to add.

http://www.cinemaronlineforums.com/wiki ... _Libraries

Go to bottom to the new section that eventually will describe each button's unique properties (when someone gets around to adding them :) )

I started with Text.Sizable for the moment

MLText|ScrollUp~Stage~2

You must have missed a release note where we added capability to target a scroll to a MainLobby layer. :)

Upgrade MainLobby client, as I can't remember when this changed but the above is for the current release.
