Forever Doomed?

Postby fcwilt » Mon Aug 12, 2013 10:34 pm

Hi,

Just upgraded from v3 to v4 and see the Windows client viewer and "editor" is still one and the same.

Are we forever doomed to that?

Moving from a modern "IDE" as used with many applications, where I can place the various tools, windows, etc wherever I want, leaving the "client" area unencumbered, to the MainLobby Windows Client "IDE" is painful.

Thanks!
Regards, Frederick C. Wilt

The MainLobby Flash client will remain that way for the foreseeable future. All the design effort is going into the Designer for the web apps as this is where the technology is at. Have a look at the Web Designer. If you have Windows touch screens that are running the Flash client they can just as easily run the web apps in Chrome running in kiosk mode.

That sounds promising!

I will check it out.

Thanks!
