HAL MLhal.dll crash's ML on start up.

Postby koolego » Sun Apr 03, 2016 3:42 pm

Hello,

Upgrading to the latest HAL 6.1.12 and also using the latest ML 4 server 4.0.5886, I have copied the MLhal.dll file from HAL to ML directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Cinemar\MLServer\Plugins (yes I am using Windows 10) and when starting up the MLobby it crash's.

Right click on the mlhal.dll file and see if it has been blocked by Windows. Windows will automatically block all files downloaded from the Internet. Other than that the folks at HAL might have to get involved. We never have seen the source code for that plugin.

Also check the Windows application event log to see if there is any useful information there.
