My IR commands not working with USBUIRT

Postby Scott » Mon Jul 28, 2008 2:20 pm

I created an IR database for the Scientific Atlantic 8300HD box using a globalcache box with IR Receiver. Those IR commands have worked fine with the global cache box.
I've now installed the USBUIRT on MLServer and I've imported the SA8300Hd.dev file over to the USBUIRT plugin. When I send a command using my Iphone (Example Guide) the IR light on the USBUIRT blinks but nothing happens on the cable box.
The command I'm using for my Iphone html is:
<td><img onclick="doCommand('MLUSBUIRT|SendIR~Cable~Guide');" alt="Guide" src="images/btnGuide.png" style="width: 200px; height: 200px" /></td>

I used the IR receiver built in the USBUIRT and learned the IR code for the Guide. Once I did that I can now get the guide to come up. I noticed the IR code for USBUIRT is completely different then the one used by global cache. Is their a program that will convert my global cache IR to USBUIRT or do I just have to relearn all the codes?

Unzip the attached file and import the .Dev file into USBUirt. I created this file for my SA 8300 HD DVR using the learn function of USBUirt and all work correctly for me. Even if you don't have the DVR version the rest of the commands should still work for you.

Thanks Cecil for .dev file. It works great! Saved me a lot of time of having to learn all the commands again.
