USBUIRT ShowMeta Error - No value given

Postby AccessHA » Tue Aug 14, 2007 7:21 am

When I try to add a device to the IR database I get the following error:

ShowMeta Error - No value given for one or more required parameters.

If I attempt to enter a device name, ir zone, or description I get:

Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.

Plug-in version: 1.6.20
USBUIRT Driver: 1.4

Update: I went into MS Access and deleted the DVD device from the .mdb file. When I went back into the plug-in I was able to create a new device. I also had the ability to learn codes for about 10 buttons on the remote. After learning so many code entries, I started getting the error above again.

How do you save existing devices?

Postby sbuckler » Thu Dec 27, 2007 9:15 am

I am getting the same error when trying to add a device (Denon AVR4308ci so really I'd like to use the Denon plugin _ Hint!)

I have been able to get it to accept a new device if I use an entirely new database file but I don't want to have to add all my other devices. I have MS Access but don't know how to use it.

Any help out there??

Thanks
Stan
