regular remotes shut down mlserver

i use a usb urit to control everything in my theater with an hp touchsmart and q1 as my remotes. for some reason whenever i use a regular comcast remote to control the cable box it shuts mlserver down. it does the same whenever i use my harmony as well. am i missing something? is there a way to stop this?

FWIW I have the same problem. Any remote.

Noticed it aabout 6 months ago or so.

I never solved it, never used to be that way. Thankfuly, at least for me I dont use the USBURIT as input, only output IR so I taped over the lens.............

That sounds like more of a USBUIRT driver problem. You might check the USBUIRT website for a later driver than what you might have gotten when you last installed it.
BTW...the MLServer application is shutting down, or Windows is shutting down? I am assuming you are saying Windows.

If MLServer, then look into the latest plugin for however you are integrated with USBUIRT.

Mine are up to date as well.

And BTW - my mlserver doesnt shut down per se it crashes (windows error box and locked up)
