Read the added documentation to the wiki, unless you enable the installer mode, the RS232 port will not receive commands when the receiver poer is off.

Does anyone have a clue as to why MLServer does not populate any of thevariables for the STR plug-in ? ? ? ?

Dave,

Any reason why or something I should check to address the fact that I have no variables created in MLS for the STR plug-in ? ? ?

Can anyone using this plugin confirm that MLS variables are being created ? ? ?

I can't get it to talk to my receiver yet and yes it is in the Installer Mode. I've been using ES-Press0 for a couple of years successfully. I'm tempted to remove the receiver from the rack and unplug it from the HTPS-7000 to see if that fixes things.

Another beta tester coming soon

Postby rmcclain » Wed Dec 19, 2007 4:02 pm

Hey, glad to see a beta version is now out. I have not been on the forums in awhile, so I did not know it was released. I am in the middle of a system overhaul and change. As soon as I get things back together, I will download the plugin and get started on my eval/testing. Thanks Cinemar, many of us had given up hope! Glad to see you stuck with your promise and we have a beta!

No update yet.
Adding features to DVDLobby375 has the attention right now. We'll get back to Sony in a bit.

Someone please post a screen shot of this in action once you get it going. I'm curious to see it.

So any work going to go into the new STR-DA6400 ES, I just got it and I love it. The PC config tool is nice.
