How to STOP a Macro

Postby maik » Thu Jul 09, 2009 1:11 pm

Is it possible to stop a Macro? I would like to have a looping macro, basically have a set of lights flash until I press a button on the screen. Is it possible?

I would try putting a conditional in there that is set using a Var that your button push sets to see if that would work.
Might only work in a MLScript.

If you had a command map that turned the lights on and then off once called Flash.Lights and you had a variable you would set with a scene button called {{flashlights}}, then you could write a conditional like:

MLConditional|IsEqual##{{flashlights}}##True##Macro|Flash.Lights##

So as long as {{flashlights}} was true then the command map that flashes the lights would run. Once {{flashlights}} was no longer true then the command map wouldn't run.

As for the scene button you could set up a toggle conditional like:

MLConditional|IsEqual##{{flashlights}}##True##SetVariable|flashlights~False##SetVariable|flashlights~True
