New Beta

Postby Krumpy » Sun May 03, 2009 8:21 am

New beta version of the plugin that will also create device name along with device last changed. Also now using a faster method of importing variables into MLServer.

So it will create MLServer variables such as:
mlhsplugin_diningroom ceilight lights off
mlhsplugin_diningroom ceilight lights_lastchanged 4/24/2009 7:35:26 PM
mlhsplugin_diningroom ceilight lights_value 0
mlhsplugin_diningroom ceilight lights_x10code %1

in addition to:
mlhsplugin_%1 Off
mlhsplugin_%1_lastchanged 4/24/2009 7:35:26 PM
mlhsplugin_%1_name diningroom ceilight lights
mlhsplugin_%1_value 0

----> This requires one of the later version of MLServer 3.x <----

1.) Shutdown HS
2.) Unzip and copy the MLHSPlugin to your HomeSeer directory
3.) Start CMD.EXE (command prompt) and change directory to the HS directory.
4.) REGSVR32.exe hspi_MLHSPlugin.OCX
5.) Start HS

Download it from the HomeSeer Board:

Update to eliminate the spaces in the variable names is located here as HomeSeer MLHSPlugin version 2.2.0.126:

This will also run with MLServer 4.x

I also have a newer version (2.2.0.128) that could work with the Command Builder. Catch is that the Command Builder requires the command set for MLHSPlugin to change.

For example:

MLServerCMD.MLHSPlugin|HS_Speak:Hello there

Would turn to

MLServerCMD.MLHSPlugin|HS_Speak~Hello there

Note no more ":" in the command set. Let me know if you're interested and I can publish it.

Ok, I have rebuilt the command processing routines and it appears to work. Will publish the update soon and am seeking some souls that are willing to test. Lets face it, this probably has been the most significant change in the plugin since the original development back in 2004. The plugin has been around for 9 years....

Only to think back the first time I met Mario.... And In a few hours the first draft of the plugin architecture for MLServer was completed by Cinemar...
