Mainlobby on TV?

Postby DavidL » Wed Sep 01, 2004 9:55 pm

Does this look like a MainLobby scene on the Fox "Renovate My Family" show today? It doesn't look like a Homeseer scene.

Could this be a MainLobby to MLHSPlugin to Homeseer to HAI panel integration?

That would be it. :)

My guess is they are using MainLobby with the MLHS plugin and HomeSeer.

Cool - I'll have to watch it since I recorded it wondering whether it would make the cut. Cinemar donated a copy to Smarthome thanks to HomeSeer's inquiry.

You will have to fast forward through most of it. I immediately noticed the ML graphics when they panned by the kitchen touchscreen.

So, the show didn't give the family a 30 day trial copy? ;)

I didn't see Cinemar in the credits. Maybe next house...

I saw it too and immediately picked up the TiVo remote.

I was quite impressed with the level of detail that Fox applied to the new house with all of the HA stuff. They could have easily cut all that out and saved some time but didn't.

I think it was cool that they did such a great job. Maybe it was in part due to the Dahm triplets.

Seems like most of the "credited" stuff is something that SmartHome sells; they don't sell Cinemar, do they?

This makes sense since Rich Helmke (HomeSeer Technologies) was asking some questions regarding the MLHSPlugin that I wrote. This is definately ML talking via MLHSPlugin to HomeSeer.

So Mario, is this now proof that ML/HS two-way integration was a worthwhile investment?

Now we just need additional two-way graphics. Currently, we are just starting to scratch the surface of the capabilities of this subject....
