Listings Update Error

Postby DaveB » Sun Oct 12, 2008 8:55 am

I keep getting a listings update error as below;

Validating XMLTV listings
C:\XMLTV\xmltv.exe tv_grab_na_dd --days 14 --output C:\XMLTV\TVListings.xml
C:\Program Files\MLServer
Finished validating listings
Processing listings...
Reading the channel map
Opening the file: C:\XMLTV\.xmltv\tv_grab_na_dd.conf
Read 375 lines
ProcessListings Error #9 - Subscript out of range, TVLlistings

I also can not seem to get the listing to appear on screen.

I have attached the MDB.

That database is blank, so that's why you can't display anything... Could you zip up and post your C:\XMLTV\TVListings.xml and channel map please.

I need to load access on this machine!!

OK, This is the file: http://senduit.com/2e4b90

My Settings are as follows;

Days: 14
Grabber to use: tv_grab_na_dd
XMLTV Listings file: C:\XMLTV\TVListings.xml
Channel Map: C:\XMLTV\.xmltv\tv_grab_na_dd.conf

I think that the listings are being downloaded OK as based on the listings XML. The error looks like it might have something to do with the channel map, and preventing any data from being written to the MDB. My guess is that there is something wrong with the listings update.

My listings update Macro is as follows;

MLTVLobby|ProcessListings

This runs each night at 3:00am.
Thanks!

I guess you misread the WIKI where it said:

Code: Select all

7 B) For international users, if the TVListings.xml file does not include the channel numbers, it is possible to use a channel map.

You put your grabber file as a channel map...

So then what should the channel map field contain?
Thanks!

It should be blank, since you don't need to remap any channel when using the North-American grabber...

Well it is a bit better. I am getting the XMLTV download with no error now that the settings are corrected. The data is getting into the XML file, but I still have an empty database in MLS land. What did I miss?
Thanks!

Post the new log and if the tv.mdb is bigger than 250k (i.e. not empty), also post it...
