XM Ready Receiver

I would like to see XMLobby support the new XM Ready Receivers from Yamaha and Onkyo amoung others.

You attach a special XM Antenna to the receiver and the receiver can now do the channel surfing and display the XM Information. It really reduces the number of devices you need to own and the remotes.

I have my DVD changer, HD Dish PVR, AM/FM, XM, Itunes through Airport Express all hooked up to an Onkyo receiver and it still has room for more devices to be connected.

It would be great if XM Lobby was able to control the receiver and show the channel information.

Hmmm... you could probably do this yourself with XM Lobby and the internet feed.

By using the auto-fire and sending the "change channel" information to the receiver, you could make it work even without direct support.

David,

All I can tell you is "it's being investigated..." :)

At least from the Yamaha point of view.
