I didn't want to take the liberty, but y'all might want to consider adding to the list here: http://www.xm411.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=974

gregoryx,

Would you like to take the liberty if you have a chance? :)

Thanks Gregoryx,

I'm surprised at the little amount of interest we've seen generated by XMLobby for both new and current users. I thought it would be a big hit. But then again, at first I thought it was something I personally wasn't even going to use that much.

But it's kind of like Caller ID...once you have it, you can't live without it. :)

I didn't expect to use it either... kinda did it on a whim and it's okay... but I still don't like the "DJ breaks". The biggest thing that motivated me was the idea of introducing me to new music that I could buy - the "buy the playing album" thing - but it doesn't seem to have any hits for jazz or classical, which I often listen to. We'll see how it goes...

Actually i got xm about 6 months ago and am hooked. bought theXML lobby because of the flexiblity to stream to another PC in the house.

Still have not tried... been too busy.

Mario, I have seen a few posts on how to do this but is it posible to break down even more how to for a novice.

100% WAF!!

Postby cboyd » Sun Jul 11, 2004 1:31 pm

Well, I just want to post a note, saying that until XMLobby, this was viewed as "neat little hobby" but *now* i have achieved 100% WAF.

XM Lobby was just the thing I needed to bring my beloved's XM into the home and easily controllable.

The door is now open to full Homeseer/ML integration and Progear tablets littered in the walls!

Thanks!

cboyd,

I think you've hit the nail on the head. I'm surprised more people haven't welcomed XM radio. I guess it's like caller ID...once you have it, you can't live without it. :)

GuiGraphix: XM Channel Library is now available
http://www.cinemaronline.com/guigraphix.xmlogos.html

For those looking to add even more enhancements and customization to XMLobby or control interface, Cinemar is proud to introduce our latest GuiGraphix Library of XM channels.

Use the library graphics in combination with XMLobby's XM PCR plugin to enable the user to press the XM Channel Logo and have the XM Radio jump right to that station. Or use the graphics and MainLobby to control an external system such as Crestron or AMX.

This library not only includes all of the XM Channels, but also some sample MainLobby Scene files and the background skin pictured below.

This graphics library also allows you to add your own label beneath the button as well as several blank buttons in various styles for creating multi-level menus that blend well together. Each button also has a rollover/depressed state perfect for touch screens.

GuiGraphix load directly into MainLobby.
