OK - we havent' had a chance to put together the web page for MLAlarmClock; however, I just sent out emails to everyone involved in this thread with an order link so they can get their expired plugin working again right now rather than waiting for the page to be completed.

If you don't get an email soon or were not involved in this thread, let me know and I'll be sure to send you one right away.

Sorry for the interruption in service.

Are there any pre designed scenes...preferrably 0019 style?

You can also download MLOutlook and in there are MLCycleStates and an overlay scene that allows for setting of a date / time for an action. This was originally used for setting an appointment in Outlook from a MainLobby touchscreen. You can probably reuse that UI metaphor for MLAlarmClock. You can download the trial, pull out the scene, and repurpose (without having to pay / license MLOutlook).

Try out MLOutlook while you are there :)

The initial posts mentions an alarm.mp3 comes with the plugin...I can't seem to find it, can someone please post? Also, what command would I use to play it? Thanks!

Actually, I just realized that there are apparantly two MLAlarmClocks. One a 3rd party developed version (that I don't know if it was posted or not), and Cinemar's MLAlarmClock that is in beta. The 3rd party one is the one that was suppose to include an mp3.

With Cinemar's plugin (at least), you can perform any MLServeCmd when the alarm is triggered. This can include a MLFileOpen|myalarmnoise.mp3.

or a little more sophisticated - use MLZoneAudio plugin:

AV.{{zoneaudio_{{zoneaudio_currentzone_{{clientname}}}}_alias}}|PlayFile~C:\Program Files\MLServer\Sounds\myalarmnoise.mp3

This allows for routing of the audio file in a whole house audio sytem.

Or, ability to play on any PC - use MLClientSvc plugin and application:

Sys.BedroomPC1|Send~AlarmClockNoise~Run

Or use MLMediaPlayer to play on the MainLobby Server:
MLMusicPlayer|PLAY~C:\Program Files\MLServer\sounds\myalarmnoise.mp3

Or, use MusicLobby3:
MLMediaCenter|MuLServerName~zonename or zonenumber~PlayFile|C:\Program Files\MLServer\sounds\myalarmnoise.mp3

That should keep you busy for a bit :)

OK. Found it in the download section of MLS although nothing in forum or Cinemar site. Any docs available for it yet?

The MLAlarmClock I am talking about is the one I had to pay for...I assume that is the 3rd party one? Which one does this thread support?

No, if you paid, then that is very likely Cinemar's MLAlarmClock and not the 3rd party one.
I don't think there is a specific thread for one or the other...Is it working for you? Documentation is in the Wiki.

MLAlarmClock Version 1.0.432 is now available for download from MLServer's > Additional Software Downloads > Beta section.

The variables have been changed to improve their sort order and match those of other plugins.

Changes are being made to the wiki:

For those folks using Cinemar's MLAlarmClock, can you offer your thoughts on how well it is working? I tried the beta way back when it was still very buggy so I can't try it again. Also, what is the cost?

Thanks,
Rick
