I will let geislerk post additional information. For now, I will just say that beta testing has gone extremely well.

Elite Pioneer VSX Plugin

Postby geislerk » Sat Sep 30, 2006 10:43 am

Here is my latest build (.dll and .pdf). I did add a max volume level so that instead of the default 93 (0..93) you can set it to say 60, and then when using a slider control, it will scale it between 0..60. I also added an addtional SETVOLUMESCALED command to be used with a slider control so the value it scaled between 0..100 using the max level also.

Please let me know of any issues.

I just want to publicly thank Kurt (geislerk) for his amazing effort on this plug-in. It was a real pleasure working with him throughout the entire beta testing process. He is one of the nicest individuals one could meet and an all around great guy. =D>

Thanks again for everything Kurt!

Hi Jay,

If you could... please share your completed scene when it's finished. I plan to do the same shortly.

I would also like to see your ML scene as an example. For some reason, I get bogged down when trying to design my scenes.

Pioneer Elite VSX-49TX and plugin

Postby scotthpdx » Mon Oct 23, 2006 10:52 pm

I wanted to know if I can control my VSX-49TX Audio Video Receiver and my DVD players using this Pioneer Plug in. I would love to get rid of the serial IR control stuff.

Also, what kind of a cable do I need. Is is just standard Female to Female serial?

I am looking forward to trying this out. This will really make some stuff I have been trying to do so much easier.

Thanks,

Scott

This Plugin only controls the A/V Receiver. It will not control your DVD. The serial cable is just a standard cable.
