I will check out Etherrain. I think that I would prefer Rachio as it seems to have huge support and is starting to form partnerships with some major players. Here is a link to the API information and I will try to find the API itself.

https://rachio.readme.io/v1.0/docs

Thanks,
Davis

Dave - can you give me a heads up on whether a connection to Etherrain is possible based on the API? The ethernet board on my Etherrain has failed and I must replace it. I don't want to do this if it is not possible to support it as I will explore other options. Thanks.

I would also like to request support for the Rain Machine controller as well, since it supports 12 watering zones.

Thanks,

-Todd

I haven't bought a new controller yet, but Home Depot has the Rachio on clearance for $88. I was going to grab one, but if there are more people using the RainMachine (and therefore it is more likely that we will see a plug-in) then I can go that direction.

Etherrain, Rain Machine, Rachio all on the list. If I can get Google Music running you'll see activity here.

Great. Thanks Dave. Rachio already has Crestron, Control4, IFTTT and Wink integration so it must have a pretty good API. But either Rachio or RainMachine are good with me.

Bump on the Etherrain. Spring is just around the corner and I am planning to open up my system. I will likely switch controllers to one more compatible to MainLobby if you don't have time to address it. However, this would be a shame because this unit is rock solid - just difficult to interact with if you don't have it plugged into MainLobby. Thanks.

I think that I have decided to go with Rachio. I will need to start watering in the next few weeks and need to move forward with the replacement of my Hunter Pro-C.

Dave,

We can all appreciate everything you have on your plate, but can you give us an update on supporting MLIrrigation for Etherrain, Rain Machine, and Rachio?

Thanks,

-Todd

All three are in development. I'll have to remote into your machine soon for testing.

bump on the etherrain. Sprinklers are now open for the season. I need to know if I should create my own temporary interface to access them or if the plugin will be imminent? Thanks.

I need remote access to a machine that I can test the EtherRain driver on. I will not release the driver until I have physically tested it on someone's system.
