VuDu

Postby erikhimber » Thu Dec 09, 2010 3:57 pm

Do any of you Cinemar users own / use a Vudu for movies ????

If so, has anyone been able to control it via ip control ??

Would it be possible to develop a plug-inb for this if there was enough interest ??
Erik

We are always open to creating a new plugin. If there is a published protocol document send it to me or point me to it.

In theory it should. Just send the XML commands as one string like:

<?xml version="1.0"?><NetRemote><KeyEventRequest_1><name>vudu</name><id>req-1</id></KeyEventRequest_1></NetRemote>

With MLComDevice you can both send and receive the status.

I have most of my xml commands working except the scroll and cursor. Would appreciate any help.

Below is how I sent the command for scroll right

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<NetRemote>
<KeyEventRequest_1>
<name>scroll</name>right
<id>req-1</id>
</KeyEventRequest_1>
</NetRemote>

Thanks,
Bob Muziani

From looking at the protocol document I would guess it's

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<NetRemote>
<KeyEventRequest_1>
<name>scroll</name>
<direction>right</direction>
<id>req-1</id>
</KeyEventRequest_1>
</NetRemote>
