MLCycleStates ISSUE

Postby Blade » Mon Mar 23, 2009 5:03 pm

I think I am going crazy with MLCycleStates on the MLCalendar new event provided scene.
You know where there are the up and down arrows for moving the date and time info when creating a new event? It uses cyclestates to do this.

MLCycleStates seems to be doing PREVIOUS everytime even tho I am specifying NEXT. I tested this in my other scenes that use it and it is doing previous even tho next is executing. Is this a known issue with CycleStates plugin?

Either there is an issue with CycleStates or my machine is going mental.... as well as me too :)

Check to see if there is a later version of MLCYCLESTATES from the Installation Assistant. I know this was an issue in one release.

OR - the button is programmed backwards. Check the actual command that the button is passing. Turn on the Verbose logging option.

Also, the current Cycle States version I have on board is 1.0.56.0 dated 12/08/08.

I think you have the version that was causing the issue. Re-download and re-update.

The version as reported in the updater is not always correct as it is a manual entry by the person who posts the file. Sometimes they forget to update the version!
Thanks!

OK I redownloaded the build from the installer and it seems to be working now. The version is now 1.0.58.
I hope that the MLInstaller build numbers will be correct otherwise it makes it hard for us to know what we need to update.

Thx

MLCycleStates version 1.0.53 has the backwards direction problem. The latest version 1.0.58 should take care of it.

Yes, I thought maybe I was losing my marbles, too! Staring at too much code and not enough Tequila 8)

Ron; I guess that depends on what version of Tequila you have... 8)

That is an issue that I know Dave was working on and attempting to come up with a solution.

Currently, many of the version numbers as reported in the installed are not correct.
Thanks!

What is the latest version? This is what I see with ML Installer:

Version 1.0.56

Blade reports downloading and installing version 1.0.58

Maybe we should rename the plugin to MLConfusedStates  Or maybe I need more Tequila 8)

Ron, the latest version is 58.
DaveP must not have updated the download list to reflect the latest file.

Just download "56" and you will get "58".

Dave should make that download list sniff out the true DLL date to stop the confusion. It seems to be way too easy to not update the version number list. A quick count tonight shows 7 not correct. I have harped on this before.

I did not even know that I had an old version until all this came up.
Thanks!
