MLIPCamera doesn't list current configured cameras

Postby Clever1 » Tue Nov 24, 2009 7:37 am

After I add a camera to MLIPcamera and close the plugin setting window, when I open the plugin setting window again to add another camera the one I just added isn't listed. Same results after I add the second camera although when I go to add a third camera the plugin id starts @ 003 as if two other camera are configured. It appears as though the database isn't be queried and the results listed when the plugin settings are selected.

Anyone have any insight as to what might cause this issue?
I also have noticed that even though I have the IPCamera plugin install and the plugin requires registration it doesn't show up in the products list in the Product Lisence Manager. This has me puzzled.

Can you provide details on which MLIPCamera family version you have and the version of the IP Camera you are trying to add?

MLIPCamera doesn't list ......ERROR #438

Postby egamez » Mon Feb 15, 2010 3:12 pm

Hi Folks

I have downloaded the latest MLIPCamera plug-in 3.0.684 and I needed to add again my current CAMs which used to work fine with older plug-in. When I try to add my Panasonic KX-HCM10 a pop window halted with the message "Contacting your new camera now" at the time Mlserver reports in the events window "AddCamera - Error #438- Object doesn't support this property or method at line #160". I cannot figure out if its a plug-in error or some issue between the plug-in related to the Panasonic driver

On the other side I can added my Panasonic HCM10 as a generic cam but I am still figuring out how make ML display the streaming video but naturally its not what I expect having the Panasonic plug-in

I appreciate the help you can provide

Was this resolved?

I just installed MLIPCamera 3.0.684 and on startup it doesn't load my 4 cameras I had defined before. In the log I get "Error #438 - Object doesn't support this property or method at line #210" when the plugin starts. Additionally, I lost my license. It indicates I have (30 days remaining) in my Evaluation.

Figured out part of the problem... I had to also load in the MLIPCamera Panasonic Driver. This got rid of the error #438 in the log and now my 4 cameras work. Just the license problem remains.

Hi JWR

I just uploaded the new Panasonic plug'in and it seems to work however snapshot feature is reporting the same #438 error. As far the license just send an email to David Perrico or Mario.

Thanks

Thanks egamez.

Dave took care of my license issue. I'm seeing the same problem you mentioned with snapshots. This error is reported anytime I take a snapshot.

SnapPicture - Error # 438 - Object doesn't support this property or method at line #70

Does anyone know the exact URL to get just the video stream from the new Linksys Wireless-N WVC80N cameras?
