Cinemar is proud to be chosen as the touch-screen user interface to control two U.S. Air Force Super Car's for recruiting. Cinemar worked directly with Galpin Auto Sport's Lead Customizer Mad Mike, well-known for MTV's "Pimp My Ride", to complete the installation in an extremely aggressive time-frame. Each vehicle included built-in computers, touchscreen's and video monitors with MainLobby providing the user interface for control. The white Ford Mustang 'X-1' and black Dodge Challenger 'VAPER' are Air Force-inspired designs that will travel across the country as part of a mobile marketing campaign to educate young people on the mechanical and technical career opportunities available within the Air Force.
The user interface was designed to match the high-tech and 'jet-like' style of the super car's. The Cinemar automation system controls the doors, booster fans, stealth exhaust, fog lights, strobe lights, beacon, navigation system and security cameras. Cinemar's team of developers were able to make final tweaks to the interface even after installation remotely from the comfort of their office.
The Air Force has more details, images and in-depth video clips documenting the project on their website.
