I was wondering the same thing. The last time I looked I had four days remaining.

Thanks.

Is it the typical behavior to see MLWorker agent continually grabbing images from intellicast? I've only enabled a handfull of maps but it seems like the plugin retreives images almost constantly. The command queue in MLWorker never clears out. I do have WeatherLobby set to update every 20 minutes and that seems to be working correctly, the XML file is pulled down as expected every 20 minutes.

What triggers the "get image" commands and how can I trace this out to figure out the source? Or is this type of activity by design?

If maps are staying in the MLWorker queue it is because one or more of them cannot be downloaded and MLWorker is retrying. What maps have you selected?

An update:

If I select only the maps in the category "original weatherlobby maps" the runaway behavior with MLWorker does not occur. However, when I add just two of the intellicast maps into the mix, #348 OH-Dayton Current Radar (Animated) and #655 OH-Dayton Estimated precip. after some time the MLWorker command queue becomes completely saturated with map lookup events.

I do not think this is happening because the maps cannot be loaded because they do in fact show up correctly on the client side.

Any ideas? So far, I've tried a complete fresh install on server 2003 32bit thinking that 64bit might have been my problem.

It appears that MLWorker is fine as long as I choose only maps that are *NOT* animated from the Intellicast selection. Choosing any animated map in my geographic area causes MLWorker to slowly build up a command list and performance of the server overall is negatively impacted.

I would love to see this addressed before I commit to purchase.

Selecting an animated map requires downloading the map and then converting it from a .gif file to a .swf. The conversion from gif to swf is fairly resource intensive and if you have a low end processor then you will see a CPU spike during the conversion. If you are seeing commands build up in the queue it means that the worker is having a hard time downloading the gif. Look at the URL for the map and trying opening it up in a web browser to verify the link is still valid. If it is still valid let me know which map(s) you are using so that I can include them in my list here for testing.

The new server is a HP DL360, Dual 3.8ghz Xeon with 4gigs of RAM. This is not a hardware issue.

Per my previous post, I'm using the following maps:
Map 310 - Current Radar - OH - Dayton
Map 348 - Current Radar (Animated) - OH - Dayton
Map 1639 - Radar Summary - OH - Dayton
Map 655 - Estimated Precipitation - OH - Dayton
Map 8 - US - Infrared Satellite
Map 2145 - Regional Infrared Satellite
Map 4826 - Weekly Precipitation - OH - Dayton
Map 4 - Current Temperatures
Map 5 - Current Wind Chills
Map 4787 - Water Vapor - OH - Dayton
Map 870 - NEXRAD Base Reflectivity - OH - Wilmington
Map 5280 - Yesterday's Radar Loop - OH - Dayton

After an hour or so the above combination generates a flood of commands in MLWorker. To make the server usable, I am now using the "Original" weather lobby maps (1-12) and ONLY Maps #310, #655, and #1639 from the list above. If I add in ANY of the (Animated) maps, for example #348, the MLWorker command queue will fill in hours and server performance becomes sluggish and eventually, unusable.

The clients will show images for the animated maps just fine so I do not suspect they are unavailable on the Intellicast site. Are you implying that it will be the responsibility of the end-user to check the Intellicast site from time to time for valid map url's? I'm fairly certain I'm not willing to do that for a paid, subscription based program.

I realize this plug-in has been pulled from the site "for a couple of days" for re-work. Could we have an update on the progress? Timeframe?

Why can't I find the Intellicast subscription download in MLInstaller or on home page of website?

Thanks, Mario. I am trying to figure out why my tides won't populate. I'll keep digging.

What zip code are you using. Intellicast does not provide tide information for every zip code. I think it is a function of how close the zip code is to a reporting tide station.

Using 02645 and it comes up with Bass River, MA which is fine but the times are not populated.
