Any chance of matched inserts for some of the other buttons a la 0014_0101 and 0014_0102?

I was thinking of 0014_0005 and 0014_0068 in particular, but 0014_0036, 0014_0047 and 0014_0003 would be nice too. . .

mosley,

Just curious why you need 'em.

It's my guess that you want to apply a tint to the darker area.

OK, I may be showing my ignorance here, but. . .

What I want to do is use the state of a variable such as{{mlhsplugin_K1}} to change the color of the button rim - red for off, green for on, etc, but have a static label showing, i.e. "Kitchen Lights". (Separate status lights take up a lot of real estate at 800x600.)

The only way I've been able to figure out to accomplish my goal is to hide value on the button that contains the variable, and put a separate static text element over it. A matched insert like 101/102 would make the process easier, because Align could be used to place it accurately.

Am I missing an easier way to do it?

Thanks

Try a label of "Kitchen Lights {{mlhsplugin_K1}}" with hide value checked.

OK Guys,

Login and redownload Library0014. You'll have the option to install a Contact Sheet that will be placed in your Cinemar\Documentation folder.

This may have some newer graphics not yet released.

Interested in your feedback as other Libraries will also follow in this format.

Contact sheet is a great idea. What would also be good is a breif description and functionality eg. slider, release slider, shutters etc.

I file every help doc etc. in a binder and would be nice to refer to these contact sheets to help with an idea rather than having to open up the apps.

Keep up the great work.

Mario, is this a library that should be used if we're on the 2.86o beta stuff?

Thanks!

Thanks Jukebox.

We do have plans to provide more details and start to classify objects as sliders, elements, etc. Probably won't happen until the ML3 transition though.

It also gets tough, because some objects can double for many things.

Gregory,
No - the library should not be updated if you are beta testing. The library will work with ML2.86b.

The installer allows you to just install the Contact Sheet though.

Just purchased the 0014 library but when I open up some mls sample scenes, I don't get the background. It's referring to myhouse_blank.jpg and I can't find it.

Thanks,
Simon

Make a duplicate of 0014_0002.jpg and rename it myhouse_blank.jpg and you should be golden.

Simon,

Were there a lot of scenes with myhouse_blank.jpg as the background? I may have accidentally removed it at some point.
