For sure

There will be lots more screens to come that will map a complete home automation control system. I am sharing my screens for free as long as its private use. I haven't decided what I would do yet for comercial use yet but if any one is interested in comercial use let me know.

There will be many more screens to come in the next few weeks with various themes if anyone is interested please send me an email and I will put you on my mailing list.

You will need the new 0014 graphic liabary to view the screens as these are the graphics I base my screens on.

To be put on the mailing list send an email to

jamespaquin@housetalkltd.com

Hope you enjoy whats to come!

Product: GuiGraphix Library 0014
Version: 1.01
Date: 05/15/05

Added: 7 new graphics

This library now contains 99 graphics.
Many of these graphics are designed for 1024x768 screens. They are fairly large and we recommend using the new Lock Feature in MainLobby to make positioning them and surrounding graphics easier.

Mario,
How do the sliders in Library 14 work as far as assigning values?
For example i am trying to get slider 0025 to set a value for light dimming. I get the intial value and the I click on it to slide it one way or the other to change the value and then the value/variable goes blank.
Below is my Command line. Which works perfect with the original release slider.

With {{KITCHEN LIGHT}} as the sliders value

MLServeCmd.Macro|SetVariable|KITCHEN LIGHT~{{value}}!MLHAL|DEVICE~KITCHEN LIGHT~GRADUATED~{{KITCHEN LIGHT}}

Thanks in advance,
Shawn

shawn,

Try your command above with the Continuous slider. Many of the sliders were created as continuous. My guess is that's why it may not work.

We plan on adding a checkbox option for continuous vs release slider.

Mario,
Actually it does work with the original cont slider as well. It floods mlserver with variable changes but it does work. Yet when I replace it back with 0025 It does not work. I click anywhere on the slider and it just goes blank. Was the specific slider built to change a variable by clicking on it or was it just created to display a variable that is altered by some other method. Because if I put the original Cont. slider above it and give them identicle commands and varibale values the new 0025 reflects the value of the orig cont slider. But as soon as you click on the new one Whamo they both go blank.
Hope this explanation makes sense.
Kind Regards,
Shawn

Shawn,

Actually - just took a look at 0025 in question.

That is actually not a slider but a meter. So it only provides feedback.
Typically used for volume control.

Ah haaa,
Makes sense as to what I was seeing in my test. So is there a list somewhere with all the graphics that are sliders vs. meters in Lib 14?
Thanks Alot,
Shawn

I'll have to doublecheck, but if you don't see any type of object to drag, it's probably a meter. If you can drag something, it's a slider. :)

Are any of the sliders in Lib 14 currently Release sliders?
If not any idea how soon until the toggle feature you mentioned earlier will be added?
I love the new sliders but cant use them for lighting control in HAL (dimming) unless it is a release slider.
Thanks,
Shawn

Is there a 12 step program for Cinemar????

It appears that Cinemar is a scam that Mario worked out over a couple of beers. Like jrfuda, I HAD to buy Library 14 after seeing all the cool stuff people were doing. (bought weather lobby 2 days ago... cdripping engine last week... music lobby the week before). I hope Mario runs out of products before I run out of money..........

Some will say it's a cult...others an addiction.

But the first step is admitting you have a problem. :)

Thanks for the support guys.

mmmph... even I bought it... even after whining at the price in posts!

It's a nice collection. I have no idea what "value" such things have, but it didn't break my bank account. 8)
