ExoPC for Mainlobby

Postby avelectronics » Wed Dec 08, 2010 1:42 pm

I just bought the ExoPC to use with Mainlobby. It has a 11.6" screen. The resolution is 1366 x 768. I think it's the nicest tablet so far. They are comming out with a dock soon. Here is the link: http://exopc.com/en/exopc-slate.php I will post pictures when I convert everyhting over to 1366 x 768.

The iPad is nice but you have to convert everyhting over to the HTML Format. With ExoPC it's a Windows tablet, so their is no need to convert anything. If anybody has any questions about the tablet, let
me know.

Thanks

Only negative I see is that it only last 4 hours.

How does it feel weight wise compared to the iPad?

I got speak highly enough of Splashtop Remote app for the iPad that costs only a $1.99.

While it's not a true iPad app...it takes one extra click over a dedicated app to remotely connect to another PC running MainLobby. And boy is it fast. I don't see any lag times that I've experienced with other RDP apps.
It doesn't lock the other user out. It remembers your password info.

Check it out!

Hi Mario,

The weight is slightly more then the iPad but not much. It's a slick and a slim device. The battery power seems like it's plenty as a remote conntrol. When not in use it will be on it's cradle recharging. I have tried all the iPad apps and have found "iTap" works the best. It also saves the password. The performance is good, unless you use it for Video Montoring. It's still not the same as when it is loaded on Windows. For me it must have full video frames and it doesn't. It's just not the same using Mainlobby on the iPad versus ExoPC. ExoPC is so much slicker, nicer and can do anything without any limitations since it's Windows.

I would give Splashtop Remote a look. It does streaming of my video cameras just fine - they have a free timed trial. All it costs is your time. I'd be curious to know your results.

I really don't see much difference on my end than actually being at the computer.
