Google Calendar Gadget in WebLobby

Postby heystew » Wed Feb 11, 2009 11:50 pm

Has anyone successfully used the Google Calendar gadget in weblobby? I've tried multiple ways and have had no luck.
I call a local html file called gcal.htm which has one of two ways of calling the google calendar display. Either an iframe embedded or a script.

The result is that in WebLobby I get to the page and it either shows none of my personal events, or it says that i do not have permissions to view.

In an external browser i can open the same html page and all appears well. It shows my events. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

iframe method is from google calendar api:
http://www.google.com/calendar/embedhelper

script method is from google gadgets: (click add to webpage)
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd ... utput=html

Well, i was able to get it working using a combination of a redirect html page, switches from the calendar api, and the google calendar private URL.
i now have my google calendar agenda showing in mainlobby. Not as pretty as an MLCalendar agenda integrated on the main page, but simple and functional.

Can you share the details of how you did this?
