Special characters in variable value

Postby rileydog » Sat Nov 25, 2006 5:42 pm

I posted this in another area but I also wanted to post it in the bug report.

If a variable, say mlhsplugin_^67 contains the value 67%

Displaying this value in a text area results in a strange value - I am seeing 67f and at other times, I see other characters after the 67.

Maybe add a checkbox in edit to not interpret the value and display what it is? I understand the % is probably being parsed and ML is expecting an ascii code after the % to display that character. I was thinking about adding "25" after the variable but sometimes the variable contains "on" and "off" so that won't work. This used to work in a prior version of ML but as of 38, it doesn't. I have 60 variables like this so it is quite a pain and I haven't found a workaround... Thanks!
