BUG: font colors

Postby Jim HTPC » Sat Oct 07, 2006 4:21 pm

Using Text.SingleLine2 I used a variable to display text:

{{light_kitchen_level}} %

This is so I can tell what light percentage the kitchen light is at.

I colored the text blue (clicking the icon next to the textbox).

It works fine....

Save it... Exit Main lobby...

Go back to the scene and now the text is black (not in color it was set to) and textbox looks like this:
{{light_kitchen_level}} fontColor20=0x0066FF

Am I doing something wrong?

Flash has a prob with the "%" symbol(and some others). I have tried this several times and ways. I get the same thing you describe.

That's right - Flash no likey the %.

Here's what you can do. Create a variable in MLServer called myPercentage. Set it equal to %.

Then in your label you can put: {{myPercentage}}

Voila!
