Two things...

Postby DaveB » Tue Aug 25, 2009 7:40 pm

1. Shopping cart still stuck and I want to buy something - You might think that after 4 days, someone would be looking into this. Sorry guys, I know you are busy, but common...

2. Why do I need to re-sign in every two minuets to this board tonight?
Thanks!

not sure about the cart,
but the forum was going bonkers earlier today and davep had to restart the server.
Maybe he is still having issues and restarting it and that forces you to relog in. Just a thought.

DaveP - the board still has amnesia. It makes you sign in with every mouse click....
Thanks!

I am not seeing that...are you sure you have cookies enabled? I assume the board uses stored cookies for autologin

Dave, you're not losing it... it happened to me as well and also over at Cocoontech. I think it's the HASCEV (Home Automation Site Cookie Eating Virus)

If your shopping cart is not getting cleared try the following. Empty your shopping cart. Logout of the Shopping Cart. Clear your browser cache and then close all instances of Internet Explorer. Then restart IE and you should be good to go.

The newest version of Firefox defaulted to private browsing mode, which I did not realize and was not readily apparent. It was driving this board nuts, as cookies were being cached, but if I changed to a different thread, the board would sign me out. Also, this was killing the shopping cart. All is well now!
Thanks!
