Web client disconnecting

Postby simonmason » Mon Mar 28, 2016 7:12 am

I have an issue with my Web client - an iTouch in the wall - disconnecting occasionally. I swear it is always at the same time - 3:53am - but I can't confirm that at present as I am only keeping 5 log files - I have upped this to 30. I found the following error in the logs. 192.168.2.60 is the web client. I am not sure why the laptop disconnected here - it was running MainLobby but not the web client or designer, and the two MainLobby client touchscreens I have running in the house were fine this morning. I thought at first that the wifi on the iTouch maybe disconnecting for some reason - but I haven't been able to confirm that. I am hoping the error below will shed some light on this? Thanks.

Those messages look pretty typical to me of a device that has dropped off of the network, usually for me it's when a device goes to sleep or I leave the wifi network without closing out the browser.

Not sure about the message about the laptop. Is that the device that's running mlserver?

The laptop is just another client, not the MLserver machine. The 192.168.2.60 client is an iTouch connected via wifi. The Laptop is plugged into the ethernet and wasn't running MainLobby not the web client. So it is suspicious that they both caused this error at the same time - that tells me that something else is going on. At the time that this happened - there were two other clients running MainLobby that didn't appear to have any issues. I will keep watching for it to happen again, and if it does, and it is the same time, then I have to do some other investigating.
