iOS 9.2

Postby CinemarDave » Wed Dec 09, 2015 10:45 am

Well it has taken Apple a couple of years but it does appear that the iOS 9.2 update fixes all known iOS issues. You'll want to upgrade your devices.

Upgraded to 9.2 and now my scenes are up past the time bar. What is the easiest way to get them all down?

Thanks

Undo the changes that were made to the styles.css file that offset the body by 20px or modify index.html and change black-translucent to just black.

Is this supposed to fix my 9.2 iPad from showing the wifi signal, time and battery indicator on top of my ML scene?

I don't think so. IOS 9 made the scenes move 20 pixels so you had to put -20 in the styles.css to get the scene not to overrun the top line of the iPad, like it is in your sceenshot.

Ok thanks. I'm late to the ML Designer party so I'm trying to get caught up with all of the nuances.

I guess there is not way to tell the ipad to hide this info up top?

What are others doing? Modifying the header overlay to be lower?

There is no way to totally hide those iOS objects. Typically you will want to drop the top header by 20 pixels or open your Index.html file and look for

<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style" content="black-translucent">

and change it to

<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style" content="black">

and it will automatically drop the scenes down by 20 pixels.

I've got a weird one for you guys. I have two IOS 9.2 Ipad 2's. Both are just factory reset and on the exact same IOS and both are the same model Ipads. One shows Mainlobby perfectly and the other is pushed down about 20 pixels so the bottom footer is half way off screen.

What the crap could be different?

nevermind i factory reset them both one more time and they both look the same now. No clue why but don't care now.
