Hourly Forecast Scene Build

Postby DaveB » Sat Jun 20, 2015 9:37 am

Dave and All;
I am finally getting around to building a 48 Hour forecast scene set (see below). I can not get the weather icons working. Is my URL correct?

http://{{server_servername}}:6246/Images/Weather/WX_{{Weather_hf{{H1}}_icon}}.png

All you need to do is post something, then almost instantly, you figure it out.

Incorrect URL: http://{{server_servername}}:6246/Images/Weather/WX_{{Weather_hf{{H1}}_icon}}.png

Correct URL: http://{{server_servername}}:6246/Images/Weather/WX_{{Weather_hf1_icon}}.png

I do not know where I picked up the extra variable brackets.
Thanks!

the {{H1}} .. {H48}} set of variables was what was doing to paging. The base set would have to be created on page load and then a new set created as you browsed through the 48 hours.

Oh. That is how you were doing the second scene. That makes sense. I may do that or may just create a second scene and manually plow through the fields.
Thanks!

Is there a 48 hour scene already created in the designer, or did you build your own?

Thanks

I did not include a 48 hour scene in the sample apps. Didn't think there was enough interest in that granularity to justify the time to replicate the scene.

Ok that is fine. I think I see that the data is there for it. Correct? I can build my own, I just didn't want to do it if there was already one out there that I didn't know about.

Dave, I was wondering if you ever got around to cleaning up your scene so you could post it? I have a 48 hr scene started, but if yoi have most of the heavy lifting done, I would be interested in it.

Thank you.

Hi Dave,

Did you have time to get this posted somewhere? I was just about to start building a 48 hour scene but of course would be easier to piggy back off yours.
Thank you in advance!
