Norton AV identifying Mainlobby.exe as a Trojan

Postby RZajcew » Tue Nov 10, 2015 12:20 pm

The latest version of Norton AV has started identifying Mainlobby.exe as Trojan.Gen.2 on all my clients.

Any thoughts about this?

This is a false positive. Norton is probably triggering the alert based on how the runtime flash player is packaged in the MainLobby executable. Put MainLobby.exe on the Norton whitelist. Longer term you can think of migrating from the MainLobby client to the web apps since all you need on the PC is a copy of the Chrome browser.
