The model should show up as "Garage Door Opener"

I'm using IFTTT to talk to it right now and the lag times are tolerable. Mostly to make sure that lights are turned off, etc. Not for any instant response. I would like to get the Lutron Remotes more involved in my setup - great industrial design and a great way to add wireless switches - but I am happy just to have them communicating right now.

CinemarDave wrote:As for the remotes we would probably see that a button was pressed on the next poll but that could be 10 seconds away from the button push. One of the big deficiencies of the Wink hub is its inability to generate real-time status updates ala Vera or even the Razberry controller. We have to poll and if you poll too often it causes the Wink great grief. Additionally, we are polling the Wink cloud and not the Wink Hub. So there is even more of a delay introduced.

Dave,

Mine did not and never has shown up as "garage door opener". I have tried to force an update but still no luck. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Davis

Regenerate the Wink data file and email it to me. Perhaps there is more than one type of Garage Door opener in the Wink definitions.

Today's release of the Wink driver will now find the Chamberlain garage door openers.

Thanks Dave. I was out of town last week but was able to update the driver yesterday. My garage doors did show up in the Wink list. I haven't tested operation yet but I am sure they will work great.

Dave,

I haven't been able to get my garage doors to respond to commands through Wink. The "remote server returns an Error 404 not found" upon issuing a command to open or close.

Thanks!
