FYI, if you have a Vera you should be able to do this now with the myq app in Vera

Thanks Art. I don't have a Vera. Only Wink. I probably should think about a Vera or SmartThings. But so far I have been pretty happy with Wink.

Dave,

I know I have been bugging you about this for months but any chance you can update the Wink devices?

I just added the wink driver and did a discover. I have two GE bulbs and a three lutron connected light remotes. None of these were found, but I expected the GE bulbs to be found according to the posts below? Do I have to run the export and send it through?

Simon,

I am not sure why it wouldn't find the Link bulbs. I think it should have. As far as the connected bulb remote, that one is not in the plug-in yet. I have one and have been bugging Dave about updating the Wink devices since January. Hopefully soon.

It would be nice to get this working - it is a great way to get Zigbee plugged into my whole house setup. I am using IFTTT to talk to the bulbs right now and that seems to be working just fine, although there can be some several second delays depending on the internet traffic.

The Wink driver was updated today. Added support for 3 new devices 1) myQ Garage Door Opener, 2) Generic Z-Wave Dimmer and 3) Lutron Remote Control.

The Garage door opener looks like a light and can be controlled via Lighting|<<id>>~Open or Close
The Z-Waver dimmer is a standard dimmer Lighting|<<id>>~Level~0..100 or Lighting|<<id>>~On,Off,Toggle

Not sure what to do with the Lutron Remote. It does not support any control commands.

If there are still Wink devices missing after this update please email me your extracted Wink devices file.

I downloaded and installed the new update. My connected remotes show now. Perhaps they can be used to trigger events?

My GE Connected bulbs are still not being found by the plugin. How does one find the extracted wink hub devices file to email to you?

Issue the following command

Lighting|<<hub id>>~LogDevices

Then look for a WinkDevices.txt file in the MLServer\Logs folder.

Email me that file.

As for the remotes we would probably see that a button was pressed on the next poll but that could be 10 seconds away from the button push. One of the big deficiencies of the Wink hub is its inability to generate real-time status updates ala Vera or even the Razberry controller. We have to poll and if you poll too often it causes the Wink great grief. Additionally, we are polling the Wink cloud and not the Wink Hub. So there is even more of a delay introduced.

Dave,

I can't tell which devices are my 2 garage door openers. How should they be listed?
