RSS Feed on Ipad

Postby sonypoolplr » Tue Jan 06, 2015 7:48 am

I downloaded the trial of the RSS app and I brought up the page on my iPad and when I load a story the page increases in size and goes off the page. I brought the project up on chrome, and it doesn't do that. I brought up the developer tools and I got these errors in the log:

Uncaught SecurityError: Failed to set the 'domain' property on 'Document': Assignment is forbidden for sandboxed iframes.

Is the RSS app working OK with the ipads or should I not consider it?

Thanks.

There is nothing wrong with the RSS app. What you are seeing is just more of the many bugs Apple has introduced into Safari and has never fixed. Apple software quality control has taken a nose dive since Steve left. There are some changes I can make to the iFrame in the web object to prevent the iPad from stretching the iFrame to fit the content but then the resulting page is not scrollable on the iPad.

Ok I don't want you to break something else just to fix something that isn't something that should be fixed. I am definitely not happy with my iPad since iOS 8 came out, but I seriously don't think Apple cares.

Thanks Dave.
