I would be interested in the Google Calendar being implemented into V4. So +1 here.

Thanks, Russell

trying out this app and having problems. 8/12/2014 11:44:52 AM RefreshFeed Error at RefreshFeed at line #589 - Invalid credentials
8/12/2014 11:44:52 AM BrowseActivities Error at BrowseActivities at line #660 - Invalid credentials

show up in the event panel. NO activities show up - logging into Google Calendar using Chrome with the same username and password in the account panel works fine.
Any idea why credentials are invalid or how to fix?

Those messages are the Google api saying there is something wrong with the username and password being sent to it. Can you clear them and reenter just to be sure?

Thanks Dave, but no success! I went to Google password recovery and keyed in a new password for my Gmail.com account. I have a Google TV set top box, and powering this up I was asked for the new password. The credentials were accepted on this unit, so not sure why they are not on Calendar App? Are they case sensitive? I have also uninstalled the app and downloaded it again - still no success showing the event info on the app. The alias is showing in the panels just no event info or counts showing on Calendar panel. Thanks for any help and Please (LOW PRIORITY) on this

Check out the google main site under calendar sharing. Google stopped all non-native calendar sharing around 8/1/14. As example, you can no longer keep a local copy of outlook in sync with your google calendar. I think your issue is related.
Thanks!

I'm not having any issue with seeing the Calendar using my or my wife's Google accounts. So the only way for me to really see what is happening is to try logging into Google with your account to see what the app is doing. Perhaps Google has different kinds of accounts? It should not be a sharing issue because the app is logging in as you and not a proxy.

Big KUDO's to Cinemardave and Daveb for there help in getting this resolved. Their suggestion to enable the less then secure apps setting in my Google account made the Appointments screen populate with my Calendar events. NICE job gentlemen!!

I am trying to set up the Calendar applet. I have enable the less then secure application setting in Google but still cannot display any Calendar events. I have attached a copy of the Calendar log so that you can see the errors.

Thank you for help

I'm getting the same thing here. So it means Google has changed something in their APIs and I'll have to correct for it. I'll post another message when the app is updated.

Update: Did some research. The Calendar app uses the V2 set of Google APIs to access the Calendar. As of November 17th Google turned off the V1 and V2 APIs and now everyone must use the their V3 API code. This means a fairly complete rewrite of the Calendar App. This one is not a quick fix. I'll make another announcement when the new version of the app is available.

Have the update running here. Google managed to throw in some nice new features and it requires modifications to the sample scenes. Will be released soon.
