MLTimer certainly seems popular. For those folks using MLGC100, MLSpeak, MLScript you should plan on migrating to the GlobalCache V4 driver and the native Speak and Scripting functions built into MLServer.

A V4 Yamaha driver is nearly complete.

Did MLScript legacy plug-in stop working in the latest release of mlserver? I have two complex scripts in there that manage all of my audio switching throughout the house. Updated with latest version today, it took me a while to figure out what was going on but the scripts are not firing. As a test, I took one and copied and pasted into the Scripting Library and voila we are back in action. Probably something I should have done a long time ago.

Yes, it did but it was not intentional. I had set the MLScript command to call the native scripting instead of the legacy to make sure it would work when the time comes then got sidetracked and forgot to undo my test. I'll have to put it back until it is time.

MLComDevice - Mitsubishi HC 1500 LCD projector
MLCX77ES
HLHSPlugin
MLUSBIR6
MLUSBUIRT
MLYamaha - RX-Z9, RX-2700

I still use HomeSeer for Napco alarm system, Aprilaire(events associated to Napco alarm system), BrulTech(Way more options that the ML plugin), BT Connect(knows when and who's cellphone is home), Phidgets(sensors and controls), SageWebCamXP, MononPrice HDMI switch and the boatload of events that I already have created. I would love to move everything to ML, HomeSeer wants to nickel and dime, or should I say $25 dollar and $50 dollar you to death. The 2 big hold ups are the Napco alarm system and the ease of creating complex events or the complexity of creating all the events in ML.

Would it be possible to show me an example of what a complex event looks like? I'd like to see how HS does them. There's always room for improvement.

I've got well over 100 hours into the current Napco driver. It is by far the most difficult piece of software I've ever had to write coupled to the most difficult protocol I've ever seen.

The server was updated today to incorporate native Timers as a replacement for the legacy MLTimers. Read about it here.

I just finished converting away from using MLTimer and MLSchedule and using the new Timers feature.

I still use:

MLSliders (no-one has mentioned this -- is there a replacement for MLSliders that I am unaware of?)
MLGC100 (I should probably buy the control family and do this next)
MLComDevice (it will be very hard for me to migrate away from this)

Ok - I am now down to only one legacy driver - MLPhotolobby. Everything else is now converted.
Thanks!

Is PhotoLobby going to get a makeover? I have been waiting for a new version as I want to build a photo based screensaver for my Mainlobby screens.

Yes PhotoLobby is the next thing to get my attention after the next release of the Web Apps.

MLGenericdevice : I use 5 licenses of these between the 2 systems that I have built.
