Location of html files question

Postby ricks » Thu May 17, 2012 11:32 am

Admission of ignorance - I know so little about what I am trying to do. :?

Is it possible to have my html files located in a directory other than MLServer\HTML and have them see the MLServer variables and be able to fire commands? Is it simply a matter of changing the script pointer in the html head to the full location name of the js files? That seems way too easy.

No, the root folder is set automatically to MLServer\HTML when the server starts up. All the web page references need to be relative to this folder. Why would you want them some place else?

Hey Dave,

I figured it was a long shot. I use Joomla with the Gantry Framework http://www.gantry-framework.org/ for a bunch of other projects and figured it would be nice to use for ML. Gantry is modular with 65 base module positions so I was thinking it would be great for user customization on-the-fly. I use xampp to run Joomla locally (apache, mysql, php) so the site needs to run out of htdocs located in xampp.

Oh well.
Thanks
