Thanks for the help, here's my ISY climate.html code

Postby edentel » Tue Feb 15, 2011 7:44 pm

I've finally finished setting up the climate.html file to work with my ISY driven Venstar Insteon thermostats. Over the course of the past few days I've posted various questions and received great answers. Without the help I wouldn't have gotten this setup. Sooooo now that it's done I figured the least I could do is donate it back and pay it forward ;)

It sure isn't the prettiest thing but its a functional core to handle two thermostats via two pages. I pulled my hair out trying to replicate the hidden zones with the device substitution and just never quite got it right. So now the zone buttons trigger the load of separate html files.

In any event hopefully this will save someone else some spare time!

Thanks for posting the html!

I haven't had a chance to try it but did take a look at the files. Would it help if I created another variable "...mode_string" with the mode text? That should be a very simple addition to the plug-in and then you wouldn't have to have the function to do the conversion.

Version 0.1.27 of MLISY adds a _mode_string variable for thermostats that contains the current mode as text.
