Music Lobby on iTouch

Postby shakey » Wed Sep 22, 2010 12:08 pm

I've got to spend some time to night and figure out why this isn't working correctly. All albums show up but I can't play the middle one in the first column. If I try to play that one it plays the one next to it and the rest albums after that one are all one off too. Will to look see what the server is doing. Everything works fine in Musiclobby on a PC machine. I'm gonna try it using Safari on the server and see if problem still exists.

Any ideas on what to look for?

Well just learned the new pages do not work in Safari. Everything shows up but album selection is set up for touch, the mouse does not work. So much for trouble shooting from work.

SOME of the page elements will only respond to touch events. Paging in DVDLobby and MusicLobby is an example. You could add buttons to implement paging but I was running out of real estate.

I'm still having trouble getting this to work. My pages show the correct album art but only the top 2 play the correct album. If touch the third album it plays the fourth, the fourth plays the fifth and spots five and six play the same album now mater if I'm on page 1 or 71.

I deleted and rebuilt my database just in case it was corrupt but it didn't help. It works fine on on pc with Musiclobby.

Dave- any chance you logging in and watching the events? I'll send you my info if you agree to take a peek.

I'm having the same problem with playing the middle album cover art. It will not play the album that is showing on the screen

There is an issue with translating the X/Y coordinate that you clicked on to the correct album art. I'm fixing it.

Version 4.0.2 of the iPhone web app fixes the Album thumb selection issue. The problem was in the iPhone.js file. The html did not change.

Dave,

Thanks it works fine now. I would have spent the rest of my life trying to find that. I was looking at server variables etc till I was seeing doubles. I wish I Had the programing talent that's in one your fingers. Hell I have hard enough time typing this post on the iPad.

I am wondering about what MusicLobby is doing when I select an album. It is bringing up a popup with "Clear and Play Now", "Add to Now Playing", and "Cancel". Is this right? Shouldn't it bring up the tracks on the album?

Thanks.

Nope, just and option to play the album or add the album to the current playlist.
