With Windows 7, doesn't UAC need to be turned off? Just a thought...

Only had a quick play with it over VPN since I am away for the week, but looks pretty good. Only thing I thought was a little inconsistent was that you could list all movies and scroll quickly through the list, but can't do the same for music, unless I am missing something?

I guess you would need to populate more variables to deal with some of this, but having larger pages of thumbnails that you can scroll up down (without a new page load) would make the apps very "iphone like".

Grreat idea but it is off. This is some sort of goofy permissions issue related to when I restored MLS after my melt down. Everything else works great.
Thanks!

Have a look at the CACLS program that comes with Windows. You can use it to bulk change permissions. Open up a command window and type cacls /? for complete help. You can use this to change the ACLs on the folders and files. This will resolve your permissions issues.

I purchased 3 book (eReader for iPad) form OReilly that were very helpfull.

jQuery Cookbook
Building iPhone Apps with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
HTML5 Up and Running

They all have some CSS, HTML and javascript stuff in them.

Then just use the web and as Dave says w3schools.com

This upgrade version for the iPhone is great!!! The new look makes me think I'm running an app...

One thing that would be nice is that if the iPhone / iPad plugin is going to us the MLThermoStat plugin that there is a way to select Thermostats via my HAI panel. The MLTermoStat plug in only supports 3 thermostats so I'll have to edit the Climate page to be able to control the HAI Thermostats thru the panel.

Thanks. Just goes to show that you don't always have to download something from the "App Store" in order to get something that looks good. Wait until you see the iPad version.

How many thermostats do you have? It's rather simple to change those pages.

2... Yes I changed them in the previous version of the plugin; however, when you manually change the pages they get over written by any updates so you have to make the changes each time (course I backup the old files and can copy them back) there are major plugin changes.

I also am using a mixed environment for lighting control. I have some lighting control via HAI Lighting Control (HLC or UPB) via the HAI Panel and I have several switches that are INSTEON which is not compatible with HAI or they are control via MLInsteonPLM. I customized the iPhone Lighting pages to pass the type of the lighting control device to the script and execute control based on the type, not an easy change.

If you are interested I also have a script that I wrote which finds all of the rooms the HAI Panel is controlling and then all of the units in each room. I was going to use the script to dynamically regenerate the lighting control iPhone Lighting Control pages after switches are added to the HAI system, but I of course haven;t gotten that far yet.

I haven't checked in to this site for awhile, being generally happy with what I have. So I'm a little late in saying this, but ...... Wow. Those screen shots look great. This may motivate me to upgrade to DVDLobby 3.90. I've done some customization to 3.75 and will have to redo all of it, and that effort has been a barrier to proceeding.
