PlantLink sensors

Postby tmcgowan » Wed Jun 08, 2016 11:27 pm

Please consider adding PlantLink sensor reporting capabilities. These sensors provide moisture levels every three hours. I can see using the information to trigger MLIrrigation commands.

Thanks,

-Todd

I believe there is a plugin for Vera which should translate back to ML.

The PlantLink sensors are Zigbee devices. We don't have a driver for Zigbee. You'll have to use a 3rd party controller like Wink or Vera. And if you go that route I'm sure I will have to modify the affected device driver to add support for the sensors. All doable just not directly controllable because of the need of a Zigbee driver.

Thanks Dave and Art.

I just tried out the Vera (PlantLink App) and it works great. I resynced my Vera and MLServer device driver and everything came through!

Much happiness!
