Dave,

I am trying to get my PCH C-200 to show up in the list of devices in the MLNMT plugin but I do not see it.
I have installed Telnetd using the NMT Community Software Installer. I did see the PCH show up in the plugin for a couple seconds and then it disappeared and I cannot get it to show up anymore.

I am using XP Media Center. I have my blu rays playing thru the PCH C-200 with absolutely no issues but now I want to start movies from MLNMT.

Please let me know as my trial has started and I wanted to test it with DVDLobby.

Thx

Well it looks like it is showing up now.
I had telnetd and llink installed and llink seems to cause an issue so I removed it and now the NMT1 shows in the plugin.

OK I am trying to use the PlayFile command in the plugin to play a movie on the PCH C-200.

I have an Unraid server that has all of my blu rays on it. The share on the unraid server is:
\\Tower\Movies

Under \\Tower\Movies, the structure is as follows:

BluRay\[name of movie]\BDMV\etc......

The name of my NMT is pch-c200. I have defined a network share on the NMT called Movies and it points to \\Tower\Movies
I can see all of the blu rays when using the NMT with the network share.

I have defined a share in the MLNMT plugin called Movies and assigned it \\Tower\Movies. Is this correct?

I have my PlayFile command as follows:

MLServeCmd.MLNMT|NMT1~PlayFile~\\pch-c200\Movies\BluRay\FRINGE_SEASON_1_DISC_1

This does not work. I am a little confused by this.

Can someone please help?
Thx

OK I got the command to send but it is timing out and giving an error. I cannot get the PlayFile command to work.
Here is an image with the error from the plugin.

I rebooted the NMT between the 2 PlayFile commands in the image.

Dave, please help.

Well it appears that the makers of the PCH C-200 have disabled the PTY in the C200 and therefore telnetd will not work. This is very upsetting since I bought the C200 to use with the MLNMT plugin.

I have no idea what I can do now. If I cannot interface the C200 to MainLobby then it is no good to me.

Apparently they have a Lundman shell for it here ---> http://www.lundman.net/wiki/index.php/NMT:C200

Dave, do you have any ideas?

Is this plugin available for purchase? I have it up and running now and have only a couple of days left on my trial.

thanks,
Jay

Hi Guys,
I am a newbie and need some help with config on my new C-200 and NMT plugin integration, like others I purchased the C-200 to use with the NMT plugin and DVDlobby and have managed to be able to see the NMT in the plugin but if I write commands and execute them the log shows :

- Connect Telnet timeout error - failed to connect to device in alloted time.
- Send Error - Failed to send command [NMT1] has disconnected.

I have read alot on trying to get telnet working and have not managed to have any luck in getting any further as I think my lack of knowledge is against me.

Is there a good guide or advise that is a sure thing for the C-200 as I am learning quickly with this stuff but are ultimately still behind a lot of users in here.

Any help would be great ???

Try lundman.net, I know he has a shell working but not telnet the last time I checked. You would need a custom NMT plugin running on port 2222 or a PAT device to translate port 23 telnet to 2222 lundman shell.

It might work... ;-)

I currently have a .net plugin for HomeSeer that I am using. I can control IR commands in the plugin but am still working on getting it to launch a movie.

Unfortunately, I think this bug still exists. When I added a new UPNP device to my network yesterday MLNMT assigned a duplicate Alias and I can no longer communicate with my HDX. Is there any chance that the option to manually specify a device that was weeks away in October is ready for use? It does seem like going through the hoops of UPNP to send telnet commands is adding unnnecessary complexity.
