MLNetflix collector error

Postby ggraef » Thu Nov 18, 2010 2:34 am

Has anyone seen this error in the NetflixCollector log?
11/18/2010 1:29:31 AM ParseNetflixCatalog - Error at line #490 - Invalid procedure call or argument

Everything is latest version, on Windows XP.
Thanks!

It means it could not read some bit of information from the Netflix website while trying to build the local catalog. Is it repeatable?

Sorry, should have been more specific. This happens with every update request, within maybe 20 seconds of requesting the update (I didn't check the times explicitly, but it was quick, but not immediate).

So the error occurred after 1560 movies had been loaded. I cleared the database, then ran the update again. This time it loaded 1728 movies before giving the error and stopped. Subsequent updates run for a bit, then error out.

The other interesting thing I saw, though possibly the way it should be: the MLserver PC (name=htpc2) is listed as NF1. The single client running the Netflix Agent is NF2 on the MLserver PC. But on the Netflix agent on the client, it lists the server pc as "htpc2 (NF2)".

Netflix made a slight change to there website and that was what was causing the error message. The 3.90.17 version that I release yesterday will compensate for their website change. You should not see the message with the new version.
