I deleted cache, and also installed MLInstaller on a brand new PC (never has had ANY cinemar software on it before). Downloaded the netflix plugin. It still downloaded v 19 to both computers.

CinemarDave wrote:Delete your Internet explorer cache. The download from MLInstaller again. See if you get version 20 then.

Version 3.90.23 of the plugin has been released. This version fixes the missing episodes and movie ratings on recently added movies. Everyone should upgrade to this version. After upgrading you should start with a clean database and let the collector repopulate the entire database. You can easily do this by selecting the "Initialize database" option from the tools menu in the plugin.

Dave,

I upgraded to this latest version of Netflix. But now, I am unable to connect. The netflix plug-in keeps showing connecting/closed under the "agents" tab. I didn't changes anything. What can I do to fix this?

Thanks

Most likely cause is that there is a mis-match in the port settings between plugin and agents or the firewall is blocking the port (6300).

Dave,

I checked, but there is no issue with firewal or port blocking. But how can I check if there is a mismatch between agents and plugin? I couldn't fina a way to check this.

Thanks for your help.

Settings tab in both shows the port being used. Should be 6300

Settings tab in plugin shows 6300, but I can't find the Netflix agent. Is there a separate agent for Netflix? Where do I find it? Maybe this is my problem.
Thanks for the fast response.

Yes there is an Agent. It right next to the plugin in MLInstaller.

Dave,

Sorry - another problem (this also wasn't happening before). Even though plug-in and agent are connected, when I open the Netflix scene, it is blank. I have several movies in my favorites list in the Netflix site, and I am logged in on the site.

Event log in plug-in shows following error:

ProcessCommand - ERROR Unknown Command [BrowseByThumbs]
ProcessCommand - ERROR Unknown Command [GetMovieDetail]

What am I missing? This was not the problem before.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You are using the old Netflix scenes. There are new scenes to go along with the new plugin. You can download them from MLInstaller.

Hi Dave,

I upgraded plugin to latest version and deleted older database as you suggested. After the rebuild, I only have two entries for genre , Action and Adventure and High Defintion. Is it possible the collector download got corrupted? I would run it again, but it takes several hours ... argh!

Would you verify that you have all the genre entries in your latest version?

Thanks,

Ron

Just looked. I've got 43 genres and 11,011 movies in the database. It appears to be ok here.
